Pro Auto Custom Interiors is Steve Holcomb's shop in Knoxville, Tennessee: a family business with a crew that builds interiors for owners, and for builders whose cars win at the big shows.
Steve runs the shop with his family and a full crew. A car can arrive stripped to bare metal and leave with seats, panels, dash, console, headliner, carpet and trunk built to match each other and the rest of the build.
The idea behind the work is simple. The interior is where you spend your time in a car, so it has to carry the look and feel of everything else. Some owners want a stock look done right; others want something nobody has seen. The shop does both, wild or mild.
Owners and builders bring cars here from Florida, Georgia and across Tennessee. The shop was part of the team on a Ridler Award winner, and its interiors have gone into a Goodguys Truck of the Year finalist, a Barrett-Jackson car and a SEMA show car. It also made diamond pleats for a Saleen Mustang for wrestling legend Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat.
